At-Risk Youth...
At-risk is a broad term which could mean any youth
who is “at risk” for further involvement of a variety
of agencies including:
- Schools
- Court system
- Social services
- Child Protective Services
High “at-risk” factors could include but are not limited to:
- Family dysfunction
- Substance abuse
- Aggressive behaviors
- Depression
- Physical, emotional, or sexual abuse (victim or perpetrator)
In-Home Services...
In-Home services are meant to be short-term intensive interventions and may consist of the following:
- Counseling at a minimum of 5 hours/week in the home
- 24/7 crisis management support
- Treatment planning goals
- Community case management
What We Offer...
- Intensive In-home Services
- Family/Individual In-home Counseling
- Support Services
Who Is Eligible...
- Youth up to age 18
- Youth who are considered “at-risk”
- Families who can commit at least 5 hours per week in the home to support the process
- Youth who are willing to make a change
- Residence in the Hampton Roads area
